We are pleased to announce the 2nd Cold Spring Harbor Asia conference on Epigenetics, Chromatin & Transcription which will be held at the Suzhou Dushu Lake Conference Center in Suzhou, China, located approximately 60 miles west of Shanghai. The conference will begin at 7:00pm on the evening of Monday April 23, and will conclude after lunch on Friday, April 27, 2012.

On the afternoon of April 23rd, prior to the start of the meeting, Dr. Philippa Benson, a seasoned instructor in paper writing and publishing & Dr. John Inglis, the executive director of CSHL Press will organize a workshop titled “Writing A Paper and Getting It Published: A Brief Guide to Success” from 1pm to 5pm. This conference is similar in design to the famous Cold Spring Harbor meetings series, a program now in its 77th year. The conference will include eight oral sessions and one poster session covering the latest findings across many topics in epigenetics and chromatin biology. Many talks will be selected from the openly submitted abstracts on the basis of scientific merit and relevance. Social events throughout the conference provide ample opportunity for informal interactions.

Selection of material for oral and poster presentation will be made by the organizers. Status (fellow's talk/poster) of abstracts will be posted on our web site as soon as decisions have been made by the organizers.

Fellowship:
We are eager to have as many young people as possible attend since they are likely to benefit most from this meeting.
