COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course provides an in-depth introduction to genome-wide transcription factor (TF) footprinting with deaminase (FOODIE) technology. Participants will learn the molecular principles underlying deaminase-mediated DNA footprinting, computational strategies for TF binding analysis, and recent advances in single-cell and single-molecule resolution profiling. The course combines lectures by leading researchers with hands-on sessions. Students will gain both theoretical understanding and practical experience from experimental design to data analysis. The program also integrates discussions on future directions and potential applications of FOODIE in research and medicine. The course is open to motivated graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers seeking to explore the latest advances in transcriptional regulation.
